Maxi­mum effi­ci­en­cy, mini­mum ener­gy cos­ts and con­ti­nuing opti­mi­sa­ti­on of the buil­ding tem­pe­ra­tu­re – this comes as part and par­cel of auto­ma­tic hea­ting and A/C con­trol. Depen­ding on usa­ge and other indi­vi­du­al requi­re­ments, the hea­ting sys­tem regu­la­tes room tem­pe­ra­tu­re sepa­ra­te­ly for each room – taking the time of day and weekly rhythm into account. And our ‘KNX hea­ting’ can do even more than that:

The sys­tem moni­tors door and win­dow cont­acts to regis­ter when­ever a door or win­dow is ope­ned. After a pre-set peri­od, the hea­ting will be auto­ma­ti­cal­ly tur­ned down in the rele­vant room. The hea­ting will only be tur­ned up again once all win­dows and doors have been clo­sed. This means you avo­id hea­ting unneces­s­a­ri­ly. At the same time, you also ensu­re that a room is suf­fi­ci­ent­ly hea­ted. If you do not have a KNX-rea­dy boi­ler, the sys­tem will be adjus­ted to suit the cur­rent heat requi­re­ment in the rooms and is thus always in an eco­lo­gi­cal­ly and eco­no­mic­al­ly favoura­ble state.

You can view important infor­ma­ti­on such as the out­side tem­pe­ra­tu­re or the tem­pe­ra­tu­re of your hot water tank on KNX dis­plays. It is very easy to enqui­re about dis­rup­ti­ons to your hea­ting sys­tem on your smart­phone or have them auto­ma­ti­cal­ly sent to your instal­ler. Hea­ting, ven­ti­la­ti­on, and blinds can all be mana­ged tog­e­ther using the KNX/EIB sys­tem and crea­te an ener­gy-opti­mi­sed, plea­sant atmo­sphe­re so you real­ly feel at home.

Your pre­sence detec­tor reco­g­ni­s­es if someone is in the room and enables hea­ting and blind ope­ra­ti­on after a peri­od of two minu­tes, for exam­p­le. If the per­son lea­ves the room, the detec­tor turns off the lights after a cer­tain time, swit­ches the hea­ting to stand­by mode, and chan­ges the blinds back into auto­ma­tic mode.
