Your building ‘thinks with you’ to provide fully automated protection for you and your property: your home is on the alert when you’re asleep at night. If you aren’t home, it automatically switches to security mode and monitors your home against intruders, floods and storms, fire and smoke – round the clock. An smart EIB/KNX system makes it possible to realise a wide range of security and alarm features.
THE ADVANTAGES AT A GLANCE:
If the smoke alarm registers a dangerous emission of smoke or the slightest trace of fire, the system activates immediately. It performs the initial countermeasures autonomously and provides decisive evacuation assistance – since every second counts in an emergency situation: the sprinkler system is activated automatically, for example, then the front door is unlocked and lights illuminating the escape route are switched on. If the residents are not present, they will be alerted via SMS.
In the event of dangerously high winds, the KNX/EIB weather station sends a message to the system. This subsequently places your home in a ‘storm-proof’ state. Any awnings will be automatically retracted, and windows, roof-lights, and garage doors will be closed. The shutters on the weather-facing side of the house will come down automatically.
Buildings and residents are fully protected with the optional KNX/EIB alarm centre. It is capable of using the components that are already available within the electrical installation, such as automatic switches, presence detectors, and window contacts. This provides maximum protection in all rooms.
The presence simulator realistically reproduces your behaviour in the building using a smart recording function, so intruders will be deterred effectively and you can relax properly while on holiday: blinds are opened in the morning and close at different times in the evening, lights come on and off, the television is even switched on from time to time – the possibilities are endless.
All devices in the entrance area can be switched off at the touch of a button or with a simple click using the centralised ‘off’ function. This ensures that no unnecessary electricity is consumed. As an optional extra, this feature can also be coupled directly with the locking system.
